Tahini, Seed & Chocolate Top Bar- No bake
Dairy free, gluten free and nut free, these super seed bars are a nutritional powerhouse. Easy to make and even easier to devour. They are a great afternoon snack and go perfectly with a cup of tea!
Note: You can pick and mix your choice of seeds and use more or less of each. As long as the total quantity remains the same they will be just fine!
Ingredients:
110g Oats
100 g Dates
50g Pumpkin seeds
85g Tahini
100g Honey or Maple syrup
2 Tablespoons flax seeds
2 Tablespoons chia seeds
1 Teaspoon vanilla
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
110g Dark Chocolate - Check for dairy free if you prefer
2 Table spoons Coconut oil
Instructions:
Line a loaf baking tin with parchment paper.
Add oats, dates, pumpkin seeds, tahini, honey, flaxseed, chia seed, vanilla, cinnamon and sea salt and half of the coconut in a large bowl.
Once combined add the mixture to the prepared tin, smooth over and press down firmly with the back of your spoon. Place the tin in the fridge to set whilst you melt the chocolate.
Add the chocolate and remaining coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30 second intervals until melted. Pour the chocolate over the set mix and gently smooth over.
Place bars back in the fridge for 1-2 hours to set and harden.
Remove from the pan and cut into bars.
Keep the bars refrigerated eat with in one week
